"Growing up the kitchen was always the place to be. Rather to eat or watch the magic happen. That magician being my great grandma Maggie Hatch who resided from Mobile, Alabama.
It was as if watching Leonardo paint The Man in Red chalk. Such a simple looking piece full of depth and emotion. That was what eating her food was like. As a Chef today I endeavor to create that experience for every person. Seeing the infinite ingredients of the world through the eyes of the South. Bringing nations together through the kitchen. Now that's magical."
